REMOTE LEARNING TODAY
SACS is Remote Learning today
Due to dense fog this morning all SACS students will have a Remote Learning Day today, Friday, September 26, 2025.
A SACS Remote Learning Day is a student learning day at home requiring students to login from home during a specified time to receive direct instruction from teachers (SYNCHRONOUS Learning) via ZOOM. Remote Learning requires at least 2.5 hours of synchronous learning for elementary students and three (3) hours of a secondary student's day to be comprised of direct instruction from teachers via ZOOM. Individual schools have personalized schedules and guides developed. Students are aware of their class/teacher expectations. A link can be found here for individual grade level expectations.
Remote Learning Days were designed to meet the new state statute limiting schools to three eLearning Days and to avoid adding additional days at the end of the school year.
