SACS Education Foundation recently received updates from 2022 winners. These recipients shared their gratitude and pictures from the enrichment activities the Education Foundation Scholarship Award enabled them to be a part of.

Yeyoon Song - 

Hello, my name is Yeyoon Song and I am currently a senior at Homestead High School. Last year, I received the SACS Education Foundation Award: Honorable Mention and was able to go to KAGC—a conference where Korean-Americans from across the nation meet Congressmen, Congresswoman, and Congress officials to discuss and lobby about issues impacting Korean-Americans. Because of the award that I received, I was able to learn and experience something I would never forget, and I wanted to thank the SACS Education Foundation for generously giving me a grant to not worry about expenses. The files attached below are some pictures I was able to get and the experience I had while I was at the program in Washington DC. Thank you so much and I hope more students will be aware of this amazing opportunity.
