Seeking Typical Peers for WMES Preschool

The Southwest Allen County Schools’ Early Childhood Program for Students with Disabilities (a developmental preschool program), which is located at Whispering Meadows Elementary School, is seeking typical peers for the 2017-2018 school year.

We are seeking children who can attend either 4 mornings or 4 afternoons per week and are 3-5 years of age.  Children enrolled in this typical peer program will be taught by our certified teachers and their assistants using a preschool curriculum that is aligned to the Indiana State Standards.  There is no cost for participation as a typical peer.

Spots for this program are limited to twelve typical peers with 3 peers per classroom.  Applicants will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested in filling out an application for your child, you may pick up a registration packet in the Whispering Meadows front office.  In that packet you will find additional information regarding this opportunity. Applications will be accepted through March 30th and may be dropped off in the Whispering Meadows front office.

If you have questions, please contact Cathy German, Early Childhood Coordinator, at 431-2630.
